Advance Auto Parts "Score for More" Promotion
During each home game, the last three (3) minutes of the first period will be the Advance Auto Parts "Score for More." If the Griffins score a goal in the last three minutes of the period, all of the fans in the arena will receive a coupon for a free gallon of windshield washer fluid courtesy of Advance Auto Parts. Limit one per person, per visit please. Coupons will be handed out at the exit of each section during the remainder of the game.

We're Ready with Answers In-Game Trivia Contest
During an in-game timeout of ten (10) regular season games and up to four (4) playoff games, one (1) randomly selected fan will be chosen to answer the "We're Ready with Answers" trivia question, presented by Advance Auto Parts. An automotive-related question will be asked, and if the fan answers the question correctly, the winner will receive a free prize and everyone in the winner's section will receive a secondary prize coupon.

Advance Auto Parts "Put the Brakes On" Contest
At an intermission of five (5) regular season games, one randomly selected contestant will be directed to center ice. As the instructions of the contest are being explained to the crowd, the contestant will be blindfolded and spun around four times to adequately disorient them, but not render them dizzy or off-balance, and then held in place until the crowd begins their portion of the game. The crowd, using the vocal commands of "Hot" or "Cold", will then have 60 seconds to guide the contestant to a strategically-placed Advance Auto Parts logoed target on the ice where the crowd will yell "BRAKES" and the contestant will take off the blindfold. If the contestant is indeed standing directly on the target, the entire crowd wins a coupon/prize from Advance Auto Parts.

Advance Auto Parts "Best Part of the Year"
Via a multimedia campaign (public address announcements at Griffins games, a mailing to all season ticket holders, Griff Notes e-mail notices, web site promotion and radio broadcast mentions) the Griffins and Advance Auto Parts encourage fans to nominate a person for the Advance Auto Parts Best Part of the Year, a.k.a. the "Fan of the Year."

Applications for fans to nominate individuals will be available on the Griffins' official web site www.griffinshockey.com and at the Guest Services booth at all Griffins home games. Completed applications can be mailed in, dropped off at a Griffins game or sent via e-mail. Out of the completed applications, two (2) fans will be selected as the monthly (November - March) winners and featured on the Griffins website, in a specially designed Advance Auto Parts Best Part of the Year section, complete with Advance Auto Parts logo presence and link to the Advance Auto Parts web site.

The first week of April will then feature the ten (10) monthly winners as finalists. Fans will have the opportunity to select the Advance Auto Parts Best Part of the Year through website voting.

The winner will be announced prior to the second-to-last home game of the season during an on-ice presentation with a representative of Advance Auto Parts and the Griffins. The winner will also be featured that night during a live radio interview and on the Griffins' web site. A prize package will be provided by Advance Auto Parts. All finalists will receive a specially designed t-shirt featuring the program's tag line - "Best Part of the Grand Rapids Griffins."
