Franklin Mint Precision Models is the leader in high-end die-cast models. Replicating the most historically significant cars in the world from the Ford Model T, to the 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe, to the 1966 Shelby Cobra 427. Franklin Mint Precision Models has set the standard for high quality, precision, detail and authenticity. The development of each model takes over 18 months to complete. During this development stage, a real car is fully documented and authenticated to use as a prototype for the model. At every stage of development there is extreme care taken to make the model faithfully represents the actual car and is of the highest quality, detail and precision. All Franklin Mint Precision Models models are composed of over 125 separate components, they are all hand crafted and hand painted and they include a wide array of functional components including operable steering, hoods, doors and trunks that open and close and functional suspension. Finally, each model comes in special collector packaging including a certificate of authenticity and an owner’s manual describing the history of the car and its specifications. As a final touch each car model comes with a pair of white gloves to help keep this model in its pristine condition.
